How it works · Before importing

Understand your historical data before defining import rules.

Migration problems often start with inconsistent field meanings, missing key values or non-unique identifiers. This basic check helps estimate the cleanup needed before import.

01 · Suitable data

Customer, stock, order and project records

Use CSV or TSV exported from Excel, particularly before migrating into CRM, ERP, inventory or project systems. Files are read locally and are not uploaded to Jianxu Digital.

02 · Checks

Review structure, completeness and consistency

The tool counts empty values and data types by column, checks exact duplicate rows and flags columns with repeated values. It highlights possible issues without deleting, merging or changing source data.

03 · Next steps

Define unique business keys and field mappings

After this check, confirm unique identifiers for customers, products and orders. Map old fields to the new schema, then validate small trial imports, reconciliation and rollback.

Limitations

This version does not read XLSX formulas, merged cells or relationships between worksheets, or detect approximate business duplicates. Mask sensitive data first. A migration still needs source backups, cleanup rules and an import audit trail.
